Borders are done and attached. Quilt Top is back from the quilt shop and looks amazing.

The remaining part of the quilt is the outer border. 56 pieces comprised of 13 pieces each - that's a lot of pieces!
The 42 unique blocks are sewn together.
Next step is preparing the borders.

Block is redone without the embroidery elements. I like this one much better. Each block will have a vertical and horizontal border as sewn on this block. Then blocks will be sewn into rows.

I wonder if this plant stand of mine is really a wrought iron version of the Dresden Plate Block? I have had this plant stand for years and just recently noticed the design!
Cutting 64 1-1/2inch pieces was challenging.
